Mt. Rainier is a massively huge volcano in the Cascades rising to 14,410 ft and is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous US. If its sheer size doesn’t amaze you enough, the lush green pine trees, wildflower meadows, and gorgeous surrounding mountains will. I had an incredible time taking photos here, stopping every five seconds to take yet another shot of the view, the flowers, or the cute critters (chipmunks and marmots) scampering by.
